Line drawing of a loaded pallet with a magnifying glass and a check mark

Most pallets are a guess (at best).

I've been selling online for 28 years. I built one of the first shopping carts for small business, and I've launched 18 companies in my career. Here's what hasn't changed the whole time: the person with better information wins.

Right now, here's how a lot of pallets get bought: You open a manifest with a few hundred lines of half-written titles and "retail value" numbers nobody believes. You skim it. You do some math in your head. You bid. Then you find out what you bought when it shows up in your garage/warehouse.

I'm building Pallet IQ to give you the math before you bid.
Every line, every time.

— Mark Alan Effinger, founder

How it works

Three Easy Steps. We do the Heavy Lifting.

  1. 1

    Drop in the manifest

A CSV from the seller, a PDF, or a photo of the printed sheet. Messy is fine. That's the point.

  2. 2

    Get the real math

A low, likely, and high resale price for every line. Your profit range after fees, freight, and what you paid. One risk score for the whole load.

  3. 3

Sell it in the right place

Every item gets a channel (eBay, Whatnot, Facebook Marketplace, Amazon, Mercari, or the bulk bin) plus a listing title and description you can paste.

In every report

The numbers you need to bid right.

Profit range

Not one magic number. Low, likely, and high, so you know your downside before you bid.

Risk flags, line by line

Untested electronics, missing parts, bulky freight, counterfeit-prone brands, expiration dates. Flagged in advance.

Best channel per item

Big and heavy goes local. Collectibles go live. Branded electronics go to eBay. You get the split for the whole load.

Listing drafts

A search-friendly, keyword rich title. An honest, well-crafted description for every item. Copy, paste and post.

Recovery vs. "retail"

What you'll likely get back, measured against the manifest's retail number. The gap is usually the whole story.

Where every number came from

Each estimate is labeled: AI estimate, live eBay listings, or Amazon price history. Export it all to CSV.

We don't pretend.

Every number in Pallet IQ is an estimate, and it's labeled as one. When we can't identify an item, we say so - instead of making something up. Low-confidence lines are flagged so you can check them yourself.

We'd rather tell you a pallet is a pass than sell you a fantasy.

Who it's for

Anyone turning returns and end-of-life products into cash.

Pallet flippers

Side hustle or full-time. Stop overpaying for loads that look good on paper.

Bin & liquidation stores

Scan every truckload before you commit, and know what goes on the floor vs. online.

Live sellers

See which items will pop on a Whatnot or TikTok show and which belong somewhere else.

Estate & downsizing

Turn a list of stuff into a price sheet and a plan for where each piece sells.

Questions

Straight answers.

What is Liquid8 Pallet IQ?
A tool that reads a liquidation manifest and tells you what the load is likely worth, what you'll clear after fees and freight, what could go wrong, and where to sell each item. It also drafts the listings.
Where do the numbers come from?
Every estimate is labeled with its source. The baseline is an AI estimate based on the item, its condition, and how resale usually goes for that kind of product.
When live price data is available, Pallet IQ adds current eBay asking prices and Amazon price history (via Keepa), and tells you which ones it used for each line.
Are the estimates guaranteed?
No. They're estimates, and I label them that way. Use them to skip bad loads and bid with a clear head, not as a promise of what something will sell for. Lines Pallet IQ isn't sure about are marked low confidence so you can check them yourself.
What manifest formats work?
CSV works best. PDFs, a photo of a printed manifest, or text pasted from an auction page work too. If you have an Excel file, save it as CSV first.
Is Liquid8 a marketplace?
Not right now. Liquid8 doesn't buy or sell your inventory. Pallet IQ helps you decide what to buy and where to sell it.
When does it launch?
Invites go out to the waitlist in order. Every person who joins with your referral link moves you up 5 spots.
